In our design, our highlight had to be the drop-down ceilng planks. We used these to suggest a ceiling plan which also allowed us to have the space seem more personal and comfortable.

Final Presentation - Drawings

In our final presentation we compiled drawing showing specific areas which we designed. These Drawings cover several specific areas such as details of wall to floor connections and axons of each room.final presentation board

Final Presentation - Secretary Desk

Another objective was to design a desk in our building that was both capable of being useful for a working secretary, while also protraying a feeling of comfort and welcoming for the visitors. Our goal was to design this desk within our concept, while also using it to welcome the visitors non-verbally.

In our design, we wanted to use lights to use a feeling of caressing to our visitors. When walking up to the desk, you feel almost as if your being held in that center position of the desk . It gives off a feeling of comfort for the visitors while also gives them an idea of where to go when entering the building.

Final Presentation - Materials

We were asked to design a matterials board compiling our materials for our three spaces. However, we were also asked to develope a new way to present these materials rather the the ordinary board presentation. We developed a series of clear slides layering our materials. It continues with our concept of movement while also giving you an overall feel to the space presented.

Logo

Our assignment was to create a personal logo. In my design I wanted to create a simple yet professional design. My goal was to be able to use what I designed on a business card or a document of some sort in a business setting.

Parallelism

In this project I used a soda can and a tree to connect a man made object to an object in nature. My message was to take the soda can and transform it into the tree. I was trying to say that we are slowly taking away our natural world and transforming it into a more man made world.

Magazine Ad.

This ad was in an architecture magazine. I picked this perticular ad because it stuck out immediately to my eye. I thought it was an interesting idea to use those two materials and use them in a way they arent usually used.

CNNC-Schematic Design

Section cuts of the building which helped with the interior design of these rooms while also showing a basic idea for the eventual final section cuts.
These are perspectives of the side entrance of the building and the office area that were later developed for the final project.
These are quick sketches of the building outside. It helped develop my idea for the interior by defining the spaces on the outside to help seperate them in the interior of the building.
